PV CYCLE, founded in 2007, is a non-profit-making European association created by photovoltaic professionals to create a recycling activity for end-of-life modules.
It now manages a completely operational system for the collection and recycling of end-of-life photovoltaic panels throughout Europe.
The collection of thin layer crystalline silicon modules is organised according to three processes:
• Containers installed close to hundreds of collection points for small quantities
• Custom collection service for large quantities
• Transport of the collected panels for recycling partners ensured by certified companies.
This entirely free system is open to all members who wish to get rid of their panels. The modules collected are disassembled and recycled in dedicated factories and then re-used to manufacture new products.
