In January 2018, BNP Paribas Reim France acquired, through an off-plan purchase (VEFA) with Nexity, a logistics platform at the heart of the Mitra urban development zone, for its real estate investment company (SCPI) Accimmo Pierre. With a total area of 58,000 m², the Mitra Campus is the new regional logistics hub of Auchan, managing delivery to all stores in the south of France. Designed to guarantee its environmental performance, the logistics platform integrates a roof-mounted and parking canopy photovoltaic power plant, supplying the electricity for the equivalent of 1,500 households. Certified “Very Good” by BREEAM, it was completed in January 2019.
“At Nexity, we are committed to creating buildings on the cutting edge of sustainable development by implementing proven and reliable technologies. On this project, we responded to the environmental challenges of the site and limited the ecological footprint of the building, in particular with the reintroduction of threatened species in suitable and sustainable natural areas, and with the protection of the Costières water table using a reinjection system for drained water.
The installation of a roof-mounted photovoltaic power plant on the building, as well as on canopies in the parking area, is part of this quest for ecological excellence and we found in Urbasolar a group that shares our values and is capable, thanks to its expertise, of responding to our requirements for the highest qualitative and environmental performance.”
